More Work at Work

We have been so busy at work--I am glad I am getting 4 straight days off. We havent been selling cars so we have decided to "add-on" to the business. We are going to add a produce market and it is a lot of work to get ready for.

Today me and my boss lady went out to the Farmer's Market and learned a lot of things.

1. We better get there by 5 a.m. to get the good stuff. So at least once a week I will become a 3:30 a.m. riser. Not exactly my cup of tea, but I think I can handle it one or two times a week.

2. Farmers are funny. I enjoyed chatting them up. For the first time in a long time I felt as if I still had "it" going on. I guess I do if I am talking to a 60 year old man. Too bad my taste runs almost pedophilia like. I am attracted to the young ones. It is just the older I get the less they like me. If only they knew what they were missing. I have references and will travel.

3. Prices vary from truck to truck and market to market. Saving a buck could mean saving $100.00 bucks in the long run.

4. The pavement gets hot and hurts your feet terribly after about an hour. I was having fun but fast approaching the "I want to leave stage." And I am going to have to go do this about once a week. So I guess I better get ready for some sore feet.

We will open on next Thursday. This is going to leave me a lot less time for playing on the computer. This part makes me sad. But it could very well save my job if we are even halfway successful. And I really dont want to look for another job right now.

Wow! So I stopped by for produce and came home with a car!! Or vice versa.. What a novel concept...
Nothing in my price range? Oh hell, I'll settle for some aquash and call it good! Or, WAIT I'll buy all the produce you got, if you throw in that little vehicle over yonder!
I hope this venture has huge payoff!
