I Would Take To My Bed But I Have To Work

Go Utah! They deserved this one. Alabama didnt show up to play or something.

I didnt get to watch the game because I had to work. Maybe it is just as well, I probably would have gotten physically ill. There were newscasts prior to the game that rumbled Saban was letting the guys be "responsible" and allowed them to make their own decisions regarding how much site seeing and partying would be done everyday or evening as the case may be. He trusts them to make the proper decisions. Right. Never trust young college guys in New Orleans to make good decisions. Hell, I'm 48 years old and I wouldnt be able to make proper decisions if I was in New Orleans. I mean, it would be ON! Also, they went out to the movies after curfew the night before the game courtesy of Saban.

Now, this may not be why they lost. Being tired and not disciplined. But as much as I love Saban and believe he is on the road to turning the team around, this----this was a bad call. But I dont want to take anything away from Utah. Winning this game was as huge a deal for them as it would have been for us and I congratulate them on a job well done. I hope you enjoy your victory to its fullest extent!

It was a great football year and I can't wait for next year. I aint mad, just dissappointed. I still love Alabama and I still love Saban. We had a year that far exceeded any expectations and I am grateful.

Utah--thanks for a good game and possible restoring some much needed humility.
